Our Story

Sparc Line was born from a shared vision between two industry veterans who believed the utility sector deserved better—not just in safety standards, but in how companies treat their people and approach their work.

Our paths couldn't have been more different, yet they led us to the same destination. One of our founders grew up around power lines, literally chasing construction crews as a kid before dedicating his adult career to building transmission infrastructure. Through years in the field, he witnessed too many preventable accidents that left lasting impressions about what truly matters in this industry. The other founder, a military brat who traveled the world, found his calling first in forestry work on power lines, then operating heavy equipment on electrical transmission and gas projects across the country.

We met during our time as transmission construction representatives while contracting with AEP, where a natural partnership formed around our shared commitment to safety and excellence. As we advanced to client manager roles serving major utilities like AEP, Duke Energy, and Oncor, we gained invaluable insights into what works—and what doesn't—in utility oversight and construction management.

Throughout our corporate careers, we repeatedly encountered a fundamental disconnect.
